Christmas in Leavenworth, (also titled"Food, Food, and More Food")

Nana Gavin, Pop-Pop, and the gang at Christmas Mass, with Father Phil, (the priest who baptized Faith)

From Parsons, (and after spending time with Grandma Pam and the family- I'll have to post pics later) it was on to Leavenworth. During the drive up, I promised Faith (Who was crying) that, "I bet Nana has your favorite dish- rice and sinigang for dinner." Well, I was wrong. We arrived early afternoon and Nana had rice and sinigang ready for a SNACK or merienda! Yum yum! I should have taken a pic of Faith covered in sticky rice...

Faith eats her 1st Gingerbread Man, made by Nana's friend, Marguerite

Faith rides her first Carousel at Oak Park Mall. I'm standing by the poll, vigilant as ever, I promise! I don't know why you can't see me!

A trip to Leavenworth always means a stop to pay our respects at the cemetery. It looked so peaceful blanketed in snow, I had to take a picture. My parents put a wreath there every year...
