Operational Test Command Children's Party

Faith enjoyed herself at the annual Children's Christmas Party. She wasn't too impressed with Santa and Mrs. Claus....

So Dada made sure to give Santa Faith's Wish List!

As for me, I had a great time meeting the families of OTC. Jason is the temporary Commander of "Headquarters and Headquarters Company", (wow, that's a mouthful, isn't it?) so I went around introducing ourselves to people...

Two of the people I met, a doctor and nurse, work at the OBGYN Clinic at Ft. Hood, and they were very excited about having me apply for a position there. Apparently, their telephone triage nurse just quit, and they think I am more than qualified for the job. I was so excited all day, thinking of getting my resume together and getting paid to work! (Visions of Coach purses danced in my head- forget the sugar plum fairy!)

But then, something happened that night that made me change my mind. Faith crawled up on my lap, kissed me soundly, and murmured, "Mama." Gosh, I just don't think I'm ready to share her with full-time day care yet!Coach purses, you'll just have to wait...
