Have you ever had a "Crazy Day"? Where nothing goes quite "wrong", but everything seems like it is an uphill trudge, with the wind blowing forcefully against you? Well, today was that day for me. Maybe I should amend the previous sentence to clarify that by "wind", I mean the whirlwind in my life named "Faith Isabella Marshall". I felt like my vocabulary today consisted of monosyllabic sentences of "No!" "Don't" and "Stop!" After spending a whole 5 minutes getting ready for this week's play date (and 5 minutes is an extraordinary amount of time when you are chasing a 16 month old), I rush out the door to realize that my cute outfit has a HUGE smear of white diaper cream down its side. Quick change into something not quite as cute and off we go! To which the other moms greet me with "Karen, are you okay? You look stressed." Hey, I actually worked to look this good!
I wrote to a friend last week, who was lamenting that her 2 year old son could now climb dressers, "Just think, all that mischief really is a sign of great cognitive skills! " I just never realized those words would come back to bite me in my rather ample arse quite so quickly.
So, Heather, this video is for you. When you can't beat 'em (and by "beat", I really do mean "beat") you might as well sit back, and enjoy the ride.

Well, I see a perfect couple emerging!
Crack me up that she only has one sock on!! Thanks for the shout out and for comiserating!
I clicked on over and when your page loaded I was excited to see a new entry (!) and then thought 'what is Faith doing on the table?!'.
Should I refrain from the table dancing joke...?!
