Faith's NOT Small, She's Filipino!

Faith had her 9 month well-baby exam today. She is quite proud of her Barbie Sticker, which Doctora Crespo gave her for being well behaved (even through a finger stick!)

Okay, so I must admit that I picked the pediatrician because she came highly recommended, and she is Filipino (hey, we've got to stick together!) I had to laugh when Doctora told me not to worry about Faith's weight. Yes, she is 29 inches long (90th percentile) and 17 lbs 11 oz (25th percentile), but "she's not skinny, she's Filipino!" And "there should be a separate height/weight chart for Asian kids." So, I guess the only Filipino things on Faith are her weight and her nose...
And hey Mom, Doctora told me that I should feed Faith some arroz caldo!
