Faith's First Day of "School"

Faith cheerfully went off for her first day of play-school this morning at St. Christopher's. She was so excited at meeting her teacher at the open house last night that she couldn't sleep. I got called into her room at 2 a.m. to reassure her that school had not started yet.

This morning, Faith went to her desk, Tinkerbell backpack and matching lunch box tucked away, and never looked back. Her mother sat in the parking lot and cried. There is something about sending your baby off to school that is sooooo... SAD!
Megs also decided to make her wishes known all through the night. I'm not sure quite what her wishes were, but she was rather vocal about voicing her opinions.I wonder why my girls can't sleep as peacefully at night as they do in their car seats?

Oh Yeah! So glad that Faith is excited about going to school!
Yes it is a bitter/sweet thing to watch your child grow up and become more & more independent.
I know that's the end goal but it just happens way too quickly, huh?
Hugs to you & kissed to the girls.
**Maybe you should do away with the beds & strap them into the seats each night?? LOL -- JK
Thanks for sharing.

Oooh, first day of school! How funny that she was worried she would miss it! Not even looking back is a good thing, no matter how awful it seemed that the time, right?!

Kudos to you for having her hair done so pretty, even with a brand new baby keeping you up at night!

(I kind of love that you call her Megs. Ok, I REALLY love that you call her Megs. :) )
